- Starting in 1984 I served in a volunteer role at the Greater Maple Valley/Black Diamond Chamber of Commerce as a Treasurer and then as the President on the board. In October of 1999 I took the job as President/CEO at the Covington Chamber of Commerce. I am now the President/CEO at the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce, having started here in April of 2006. When I fell into Chamber work, I fell in love with it.

How are things at your chamber? Our is doing really well considering the economy and the doom and gloom. Are you numbers up? What is working for you?

No, I wont be attending. I have some other commitments this year. I want to be more involved in that group next year though. Glad to hear you are going strong.
